In 1988, I had decided to start my own consulting company. I needed everything: Business cards, stationery, a logo, not to mention office space and supplies.I contacted Joan Margolis-West of Margolis-West Graphics. I’d met her through a common friend at some point in the past and remembered her spunk and vitality.
I thought designing a logo and stationery was going to be easy (don’t you just pick something?). Joan and Allen spent many nights with me in order to understand my business, what I wanted to accomplish, and how I was going to go about doing just that.
They designed my logo and my stationery at that time, and twenty years later, I feel as if I owe some of my success to them for their design. That logo is well known in my industry domestically, and also internationally. A few years ago they designed a wonderful note card that I use for personal notes to clients and customers.
